Dojo Re-opening for In-Person Classes August 10!
(Virtual Classes are also available)
At Sei Shin Dojo, the health and well-being of our students and instructors is our highest priority. Our goal is to provide you with a safe training space, excellent martial arts instruction, and peace of mind when you enter our dojo. We are excited to announce that we will be re-opening for in-person classes on Monday, August 10.
We have made a number of important changes to the dojo such as:
To ensure safe indoor air quality, two medical-grade air filters have been installed.
To comply with social distancing, the mats have been clearly divided into 6’ x 6’ areas (5 sections; 10 students maximum).
Please be assured that we are following all CDC and State of New York guidelines to ensure that we minimize the risk of COVID-19. Some of the new policies that we have implemented include:
Students will have their temperature checked upon entry.
Masks will be required at all times.
Training will be “no contact” to comply with social distancing requirements. However, family members may train together.
Classes will no longer include grappling.
In addition to our already strict disinfecting schedule, we are taking consistent measures to sanitize mats and frequently touched surfaces such as doorknobs and counters after each class.
Please do not hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. We hope this information is helpful to you and look forward to seeing you on the mat!
